EL
NASR MINING COMPANY (N.M.C) is one of the biggest mining company
in Egypt.
N.M.C is one of the subsidiary companies of the HOLDING COMPANY
FOR METALLURGICAL INDUSTRIES.
It has been established in 1960 , under the name of El Nasr Phosphate
Company. Its activities extended from Alexandria in the north to
Aswan in the south .
July 2000, Red Sea Phosphate Company was merged with El Nasr Phosphate
Company , and the name changed to El Nasr Mining Company (N.M.C).
April 2001, phosphate mines of Abu Zabal Fertilizer Co, were also
merged with El Nasr Mining Co, (N.M.C).
Capital:
124 million Egyptian pound.
Labors: 2000 Labors.
Activities: extracting grinding and concentrating mineral ore
