History Note
Elnasr Mining Company (N.M.C) is one of the biggest mining company in Egypet, and It is one of the subsidary of the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries.
It has been established in 1960, under the name of "El Nasr Phosphate Company". Its activaties extended from Alexandria in the north to Aswan in the south.
July 2000, Red Sea Phosphate Company was merged with El Nasr Phosphate Company, and the name changed to "El Nasr Mining Company" (N.M.C).
April 2001, phosphate mines of Abu Zabal Fertilizer co, were also merged with El Nasr Mining Company.
